Ceramic Wire Guides (snail guides, ring guides) are normally used in guiding the wire direction in coil winding machines. Material hardness,smoothness and contact radius are important in order to reduce the friction co-effeciency. TROPHY's fine ceramic wire guiding products are made of 99% Alumina AI203, a material with HRA88 hardness and a density of 3.85. Surfaces are polished to ultra-fine finish of Ra 0.2.

We can also polish the ceramic guides according to the users requirement, such as a surface finish with semi-polished (Ra 0.8) and fine polished (Ra 0.4). We also custom make ceramic wire guide according to the users specifications and size.
